WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU?
The types of information we collect about you depends on the nature of your interactions with us. Depending on the circumstances, we collect any of the following:

Details about you. Your name, email address, postal address, telephone number, and date of birth.

GGT Members: Your name, email address, postal address, and telephone number.

Job applications: If you apply for a job with us, your CV, work history, educational details and the role you’re applying for.

Housing applications. Your name, email address, postal address, telephone number, and date of birth. Employment status, previous addresses, references.

PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS
How we use your information
When you give us your personal data we will only use it to pursue our legitimate organisational interests and in particular to send you information about services or news that you have asked to engage with us about:

  • · communications we think are relevant to the services or news that you have requested  or engaged with us about

GGT does not hold any special categories of data for our members or subscribers, or for any attendees at events hosted by us, or that we are hosting with partners.

When you’ll hear from us
We will keep you up to date with GGT news and the weekly what’s on email, plus other occasional news items. We will not bombard you with emails.

SECURITY
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.


HOW WE USE COOKIES
A cookie consists of information sent by a web server to a web browser, and stored by the browser. The information is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. This enables the web server to identify and track the web browser.

We use Google Analytics to analyse the use of the GGT website.  Google Analytics collects standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION FOR
We keep your information for as long as is reasonably necessary to enable us to provide the services that you have engaged with us for. However, where we have received funding and are bound by the terms of the grant, we have a legal obligation and will retain your information in accordance with the funders’ terms. This will be made clear at the point of engagement with you when you are offered  a service by the GGT.
