We are an enthusiastic group of people who like both slide and digital photography. We meet on alternate Thursdays in the Glendale Hall, Cheviot Street, Wooler between September and April for our evening sessions. All meetings start at 7.30pm unless otherwise announced. There is wheelchair access.

The aim of the Club is to:
Encourage the enjoyment of photography
To share expertise between members

This is done through:
Illustrated talks given by professional and amateur photographers
Demonstrations and workshops
Competition evenings

Wooler Camera Club also reaches out into the Glendale Community by taking photographs or giving digital presentations for the benefit of other local organisations.

We try to cater for all levels of skill and interest. If you have a camera, whether it is high spec or compact (or even a film model) there will be something to inspire you.

The club always welcomes new members. You are invited to come along to the The Glendale Hall every other Thursday throughout the season. Our membership includes male and female, the young and not so young, the skilled and not so skilled. Just come along and enjoy an evening with the regular members. Light refreshments are served at the end of each meeting.

There is no obligation to join on your first visit but you may well be tempted by the very reasonable annual membership fees, which are:
Single - £12; Joint - £20; OAP - £10; Junior - £7.50

The Club is affiliated to the Photographic Alliance Of Great Britain through the Northern Counties Photographic Federation.
