The Glendale Gateway Trust is an independent charitable, community development trust set up to support the community of Glendale – one of the most sparsely populated areas of the country. Glendale, with a population of 6,000 people, covers 250 square miles of rural North Northumberland and stretches from the river Tweed in the North to the village of Ingram in the south.

Since inception in 1996 the Trust has worked in partnership with key organisations and attracted considerable investment to the area and establishing serious, regeneration credentials.
