Young readers and their parents are being urged to vote for their favourite children’s book so the top authors can be read aloud at the Book Fair, if you want to nominate a particular book please download the form in the left hand column of this page and return it to the address quoted.

Wooler is re-establishing its literary connections with a Book Fair on March 27 that will include exhibitors from Yorkshire and
The free event will include poetry readings, children’s story telling and a literary archive display as well as a wide range of antiquarian, second hand books, maps and prints for sale.

The book fair will cover a wide range of subjects including local history, medieval and Anglo Saxon history, military history, modern first editions, children’s books, the arts, gardening, cookery and cricket as well as general literature.
The fair is being held at the Cheviot Centre,
Refreshments will be available and profits from the refreshments will go to the Multiple Sclerosis Research and Relief Fund.
