The Age Pages

Feeling fed up, lonely, depressed and bored are very common amongst older people and often the issue can be easily resolved. There’s a lot of help available. As well as the health services (listed above) - there are loads of activities just waiting for people to join in:

  • I want to get involved in an activity
  • Life drags by now that I’m on my own and my family are far away/too busy to spend time with me
  • I want to be able to contact my relatives and friends using the internet
  • I want to learn to Tweet/use Face Book
  • I want to use my mobile phone to text people etc
