New for 2009 is the Wooler Walk Weekend. Locally based walking guide Peter McEwan from Walk Northumbria has teamed up with the owners of Wooler Youth Hostel the Glendale Gateway Trust to bring a weekend of guided walks to the area.
You'll stay for three nights (Fri,Sat,Sun) at the three star graded Wooler Youth Hostel on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, which has two, four and six bed dorm rooms. Peter and his team will offer two walks on both the Saturday and Sunday and a night walk on the Saturday, sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm for the cultural heritage of the area.
