Homeopathy - Jane Field RSHom |
Homeopathy is a safe, gentle & non-toxic system of complimentary medicine, suitable for adults & children. Homeopathy treats the 'whole' person, taking into account physical & emotional symptoms - recognising that we are all unique and react to illness & stress in different ways. Homeopathy has been used in the UK for over 200 years, but the basic principals are over 2000 years old. We use homeopathic medicines (remedies) and they are taken either as small tablets or drops in water. Remedies are safe, non-toxic & you cannot become addicted to them. Babies, small children, pregnant women and people who are very sensitive can all use homeopathy. It can be used to treat a wide range of physical & emotional conditions in adults and children, including: Anxiety, low mood, insomnia, skin conditions such as eczema, acne, psoriasis, allergies, digestive problems, menstrual & hormonal complaints. Homeopathy can also help when you feel something's not right, but other forms of medicine have been unsuccessful in treating you. Jane trained at the Northern College of Homeopathic Medicine and is a registered member of the Society of Homeopaths. She has used homeopathy for herself and her family for 20 years. Craniosacral Therapy - Di Letts |
![]() |
| Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle yet powerful 'hands on' treatment, which assists the body’s natural capacity for repair. The therapist uses a skilled touch to listen to what's happening in your body and this allows them to assess and treat a wide range of conditions. These include back pain, migraine, insomnia, anxiety and the general stress of a busy life to name just a few, plus Cranial work is a wonderful resource for babies. In a typical craniosacral session, you will usually lie (or sometimes sit) fully-clothed on a treatment couch. The therapist will make contact by placing their hands lightly on your body and tuning in to what is happening by ‘listening’ with their hands. Contact is made carefully so that you will feel at ease with what is happening. The first thing you will probably notice is a sense of deep relaxation, which will generally last throughout the session. With subsequent treatments this release of tension often extends into everyday life. The work can address physical aches and pains, acute and chronic disease, emotional or psychological disturbances, or simply help to develop well-being, health and vitality. Di Letts has a back ground in massage and chiropractic and has practised CST for a number of years. She is experienced at working with animals as well as adults and children and enjoys a busy practise. She continues her studies in CST, and has practised qi gong (an ancient form of Chinese movement exercise) for a number of years. |

Reflexology - Jean Watson
|
![]() |
Reflexology is a popular and relaxing holistic treatment based on the principle that reflex points on the soles, tops and sides of the feet are connected to corresponding areas throughout the body. In this way, the feet can be seen as a ‘map’ of the body. Reflexologists work on the reflexes with their thumbs and fingers using specialised massage techniques, said to help correct imbalances throughout the body, and help release blocked energy. Potential benefits of reflexology can include: Reduced stress Feelings of deep relaxation Increased energy levels Improved circulation The release of endorphins, the body’s feel good hormones (which can also provide pain relief) More efficient removal of impurities & toxins A stronger immune system, etc Contact Jean (VTCT qualified in Advanced Reflexology and Swedish Body Massage) on 01668-281799/0796-222-9067 on email jean@jmwtherapies.co.ukfor further information or to book your appointment.
