URGENT APPOINTMENTS
For urgent appointments please try to contact the surgery as early
as possible that day. Please do not try to ring before 8.30am except in an emergency.
HOME VISITS
If you require a home visit please contact the surgery before 10:00am
and discuss the matter with the doctor. Most home visits are for
those too ill to attend the surgery. We are prepared to make non- urgent visits if the situation warrants it.
TELEPHONE ADVICE
It is possible to obtain advice from a doctor by telephone
(preferably after morning surgery). It is helpful to let the receptionist
know who is calling so that the relevant medical records can be obtained. Please be aware that he doctor may have to ring you back at a more convenient time.
OUT OF HOURS ROTA
After 6.00pm weekdays and all day Saturdays Sunday the duty doctor will receive all the necessary calls through Northern Doctors Urgent Care Scheme. Requests for appointments or repeat prescriptions can not be dealt with after surgery closes.
