Roddam Dene House in Wooler was formally 'opened' by Lord Vinson at a ceremony on May 22.
The event was attended by all of the residents, plus many of the organisations and individuals involved in the development (including community bond holders, the Homes and Communities Agency, the Quaker Housing Trust, GGT trustees and others).
Roddam Dene, along with five apartments at the Wheatsheaf in Wooler, were designed for the over 55s. The Trust has other properties for young tenants elsewhere in Wooler.
The name 'Roddam Dene' was adopted in recognition of the support given by Lord Vinson, who has donated £150,000 to Trust housing projects in recent years.
