As a practice we put patients at the heart of everything we do. We recognise patients as individuals with wants and needs and also as part of a family and the wider community. We aim to care for our patients whatever their problem may be in a compassionate and confidential manner.
As a practice we want to embrace opportunities to deliver services based in the local community wherever possible. This is because we recognise our practice has a high number of elderly patients situated rurally and remotely from the main hospitals. We recognise that the NHS has limited funds, so want to work with patients to prioritise and champion the services they need and to be able to set up new and innovative services.
We will work across regional and national organisations to ensure best care for our patients.
The only way to deliver this is to have a motivated, well trained and supported health care team who are fulfilled in their work.
The Surgery is open
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm
Please contact the surgery for availability
Extended hours appointments
We are offering early morning (7am to 8am) and evening (6.30pm to 8.00pm) surgery appointments, particularly for people who work, with either a Doctor or the Practice Nurse. These are pre-bookable appointments and not for urgent cases and are available fortnightly. No other services will be available during this time.
For urgent appointments please try to contact the surgery as early as possible that day. Please do not try to ring before 8.30am except in an emergency.
If you require a home visit please try to contact the surgery before 10.00am and discuss the matter with the doctor. Most home visits are for those too ill to attend the surgery. We are prepared to make non-urgent visits if the situation warrants it.
It is possible to obtain advice from a doctor by telephone (preferably after morning surgery).
Out of hours (6.00pm to 8.30am and all day Saturday and Sunday)
