New and growing enterprises in the Wooler area will soon be able to benefit from exciting new facilities at the town’s Cheviot Centre.
A new enterprise hub has been made possible through a grant of £200,000 from the North East Rural Growth Network towards the Glendale Gateway Development Trust’s innovative project.
The plans include converting existing building space into three small office units and a training room; installation of three wooden office pods in the grounds; and the introduction of three hot desks to promote remote and agile working for local employees and people who are self-employed.
The new accommodation will provide excellent facilities for start-up businesses and those looking to graduate from a home working environment in the Wooler and Glendale areas.
