Join us in Wooler to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Starting at 12.45pm there will be a range of free drop-in taster sessions including yoga, colour therapy, willow and felting crafts; a campaign café, bird and bat box making, a practical singing workshop and much more.

A timetable of workshops & treatments can be downloaded below.

The evening starts at 7.00pm with a performance by the hugely popular women’s choir Werca’s Folk, directed by Sandra Kerr who will also be celebrating women in song and will conclude with the premiere of a new short film by Alysoun Sharpe of Shadowcat Films, featuring the life of Victorian social reformer Josephine Butler (who is buried in nearby St. Gregory the Great Church churchyard in Kirknewton).

Places on the workshops are limited so booking is advised. To book a place please contact Glendale Gateway Trust on 01668 282406 or email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
