Gathering the community together to improve the town we love.
Good to see The Sunday Times has recognised Wooler as one of the best places in the country to live. But we need to keep it that way.
So the town will be 'spring cleaned' on Sunday 2 April. A group of volunteers from Wooler Parish Council and the Glendale Gateway Trust will pick litter, touch up paintwork and do minor repairs.
The spring clean is being organised by Patrick Sheard who arranged a similar event last year, with cleaning equipment supplied by the county council. "Wooler is a very attractive market town for visitors and for residents alike, and we'd like it to look its best for Easter and for the summer season" says Patrick.
