Dovecot House is a spacious, newly renovated, Northumberland terraced stone house on three floors, in the pretty and peaceful village of Wooler. Located on the edge of Northumberland National Park just a short drive from the coast and 17 miles from both Berwick upon Tweed and Alnwick. This is an ideal base for walkers, cyclist and for those who just want a relaxing family holiday.

Dovecot House has 3 bedrooms, (a double, a twin, and a single room) all are large with new, comfortable beds, plus a baby’s travel cot, all with duvets provided.

A large well equipped kitchen/dining room includes, cooker, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine, toaster and cooking utensils. The dining table seats 6 plus a high chair. On the first floor is a well furnished sunny, south-facing living room with TV and CD player.

  • Full gas-fired central heating and gas fires in the living room and dining area
  • Full bathroom

There is a small south-facing patio area outside the front door; barbecue, garden chairs and table are provided.

Access to Dovecot House is along a private footpath and parking is in a lay by in the street at the end of the terrace approx 50 yards from the front door.

 

Prices
From £220 to £400 per week depending on season (includes gas and electricity). Saturday to Saturday arrive after 3.00pm, leave by 10.00am.

All bed linen is provided; please bring your own towels.

10% discount for clergy families year round and 10% discount for couples October to March. Weekend or part-week booking available October to March.

Well behaved pets are welcome downstairs.
Non-smoking house.
